Bill Malick, Pastor
Bill and his wife, Karen, moved to Orlando, Florida in 2004 to provide pastoral leadership in casting vision, teaching and discipleship at Pursuit. Their 35 years of marriage has journeyed them through many places, experiences and areas of ministry. Bill and Karen met as student leaders of Campus Crusade for Christ at North Michigan University at Marquette. Upon graduation, they joined the staff of Campus Crusade and pioneered the Campus ministry at Penn State University. Afterwards, they went on to serve abroad in the communist country of Poland for three years. Upon their return, Bill and Karen took their first pastorate in Pittsburg and raised a family of six children there. The Malicks lived and served 12 years there before their next move, which took them to the tough streets of New York City. There, Pastor Bill served as Area Director of Prison Fellowship, while simultaneously pastoring a Korean church, a Dutch reform church, and a Baptist church. Since relocating to Central Florida, they continue to grow more and more in love with their new home, surroundings, and congregation, as well as having 3 of their 4 grandchildren and 4 of their 6 children living around them. What is the very heartbeat of Pursuit to Bill and Karen? Spiritual ministry, Relationship, and Discipleship. Their greatest goal is that of duplicating the life of Christ in others by pouring out themselves.
